Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actress. She has been recognized for acting and as one of the best-paid Bollywood actresses. Anushka Sharma's parents are Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka Sharma's father is a retired colonel. Her mother works as household worker. Karnesh Singh, Anushka's brother and film producer served as Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore is the place where she graduated with her bachelor of Arts. Anushka holds a master's degree in Arts (Economics). Anushka wasn't interested in becoming an actor, but as a journalist or model. Anushka moved to Mumbai following her graduation and began her studies at Elite Model Management, and was coached by the style consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka debuted as a model in 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week. He selected her to be his last model from the 2007 Spring/Summer Collection. Anushka Sharma has participated in several brand campaigns since her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads with Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career, attended an acting class and started giving auditions for movies. Anushka began her career as an actor in 2008 with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. For her screen test, she refused to perform an unplanned test and instead took a day to prepare herself. She was later signed to three films with Yash Raj Films. The film in which she appeared was portrayed as a young lady who got married to a middle-aged man (the character Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. In 2010, Anushka Sharma starred in the film "Badmash Co' alongside Shahid Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. Das and Meiyang Chang. The movie received mixed reviews. Anushka was the role of a Punjabi girl who was from middle class in a movie called 'Band Baaja Baaraat. The film featured her alongside Ranveer. The movie received a great reception and was a huge success. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
